Especially on hot summer days you want to cool down in a refreshing bathing lake or in the swimming pool and then relax on the sunbathing lawn. In the Montafon there are several ways to relax at the bathing lake or swimming pool or to practice your swimming skills. There is also a wide range of bathing opportunities for families with small children.
This is a special highlight Naturbad Mountain Beach in Gaschurn. The water is 100% natural and without added chlorine. Here you get the perfect combination: action, but also pure relaxation. The children can work out on the rafting route while the parents relax on the meadow or swim a few laps in the bathing lake. Even the little ones don’t miss out and can enjoy time in the children’s pool together with their parents.
There is also a lot to experience outside of the water. The pool has a large beach volleyball court and a children’s playground. After a day of splashing around and having fun in the water, you can comfortably satisfy your hunger in the “Beacheria”.
The Alpenbad Montafon, which is the largest outdoor adventure pool in the region, ensures a relaxing bathing day. In 2009, in addition to a spacious natural bathing pond, a 50 m swimming lane, a diving rock and a 25 m sports pool were created and opened. The little ones can have fun in the sandbox or splash around in the Bambini pool with mum or dad. There are also two beach volleyball courts and comfortable beach chairs for those who are afraid of water. The kiosk supplies young and old with treats and chilled drinks.
The Aquarena in St. Gallenkirch-Gortipohl is open in all weathers. The swimming pool is designed to be extremely manageable and therefore particularly suitable for families with small children. The swimming pool is glazed, but visitors can swim from inside to outside. While the outdoor pool is 24° warm, the indoor/outdoor pool has a pleasant water temperature of 28° and has a waterfall, a flow circle, a swim lock and waterfall showers. There is also no shortage of culinary delights in the bath’s cafe-bistro.
In the “Rätikonbad” swimming pool in Vandans, there is something to relax in addition to the classic pool with diving board and starting blocks, namely a relaxation pool. If you prefer more action, you can show off your climbing skills on the climbing wall located in one of the pools. There is also a baby pool for families with children. The Rätikonbad also offers two curling lanes and a beach volleyball court.
The outdoor pool in Partenen is managed under the umbrella of the Mountain Beach leisure park. Its open layout is particularly pleasant, because parents can always keep an eye on their children.
The pool is small but just right if you just want to do a few laps in the pool while the kids play in the water.
