The Damüls Uga Express cable cars take hikers from Damüls at 1,800 meters above sea level to the hiking area in five minutes. Various hikes to alpine huts or peaks such as Kanisfluh and Damülser Mittagspitze start here, with views as far as the Silvretta. Mountain bikers will find the best conditions with signposted tours and places to stop for refreshments. The 10.5 km long Damüls circular tour with summit trails begins at the Uga-Express mountain station. In about an hour you reach the Hochblanken, then you hike 45 minutes on the mountain ridge at an altitude of about 2,000 m to the Ragazer Blanken summit. The descent leads over the Sünser Joch to the Oberdamülser Alpe and Damüls. The tour takes about 3.5 hours in total. Ideal for guests of the Damüls Apartments.

The cable car, which was built a few years ago, enables hikers to travel up the mountain quickly. Both the wood-clad valley station and the mountain station are architecturally impressive.
You can get from Mellau to the mountain in just six minutes. The 10-seater gondola already offers a magnificent view of the town and valley during the ride. At the top of the mountain, cozy mountain inns invite you to stop, where you can enjoy the view and go on hiking trails. Mellau, situated at the foot of the imposing Kanisfluh, offers the opportunity to take the Mellaubahn to the Roßstelle mountain station, from where a marked trail leads to the Kanis and Wurzach Alps and to the summit of the 2,000 meter high Kanisfluh, with stunning views and potential ibex sightings, for a 3.5-hour hike.
