Whether in the Alvierbach or high up on the Lünersee, fishing in the Brandnertal has a very special appeal Enjoy the peace and relax from the stressful everyday life. Breathe in the clear air in the middle of the Rätikon and catch your evening meal.
The clear Alvierbach makes its way from the Lünersee through the village of Brand to the “Löchern” and is easy to reach on foot. Rainbow trout and smaller trains can be fished in beautiful, deep pools in the Alvier river.

The alternative is the 2,000 m high Lünsersee. This is also popularly known as the “Pearl of the Rätikon”. Its crystal clear water will surely enchant every fishing fan. If you set out for the Lünsersee, then in this case you have chosen the highest natural mountain lake in the Eastern Alps as your fishing spot. The day tickets can be purchased at the mountain station of the Lünerseebahn (adults from 18 years, youth tickets from 12 years and accompanied by an adult). Whether it’s on the Lünersee or the Alvierbach, we’ll keep our fingers crossed that brook trout, rainbow trout and lake trout bite – they are the most common fish in the Brandnertal.
